A thorough brand analysis and implementing a strategic approach, evolved the new brand identity that effectively communicated the client's value proposition. This project showcased my ability to elevate brand perception, drive engagement, and contribute to overall business growth.
The Big Idea
Joined CCi during their rebranding phase, tasked with maintaining brand consistency while evolving the new visual identity across digital and physical touchpoints. Our starting point was the brand typography and colour palette with no further brand direction, and I led the development of a comprehensive design system that balanced the fresh brand direction, with the marketing campaign needs.
Challenges and Problem Solving
The simultaneous rebranding of web platforms, digital assets, and social media presence demanded a future-proof design system adaptable across all touchpoints. Key challenge was coordinating between Cape Town headquarters and remote teams while maintaining design consistency across diverse markets, platforms, and time zones. Developed scalable solutions through templated materials that enabled both contractors and in-house teams to work independently while adhering to brand guidelines, along with assets to support the brand library, crucial for an organization of this scale and digital transformation phase.
Teams and Library Management
A key achievement was establishing and managing a comprehensive branded asset library which enabled strict quality control across marketing teams, designers, and external contractors while maintaining brand consistency. The library featured carefully structured templates across MS Office, Canva, Adobe Suite, and SharePoint, with clear guidelines for usage and approval processes. By implementing robust review protocols and templated solutions, we ensured high-quality outputs across all launching campaigns, rebranded elements, and video assets, regardless of the team or location producing them.
Project achievements
Proud of the designs of the sub-brand for CCi’s first, operational awards, which were presented at their summit in October 2024. The case study for this project was shortlisted for two B2B Marketing awards, demonstrating my ability to translate client briefs into cohesive, award-winning designs while ensuring executing high-performing deliverables across multiple platforms.

Event Management - Pre-production
Demonstrated design management expertise through the successful orchestration of four high-profile summits across Orlando, Amsterdam, Belgium, and Cape Town. Led supplier and contractor relationships, developed and executed detailed project timelines, coordinated with multiple vendors and managed resource allocation to ensure seamless event execution. End-to-end creative leadership for event materials. Development of presentations, event posters, and marketing collateral, managing custom production of attendee lanyards, name badges. Curated distinctive branded merchandise and oversaw the design of awards. Ensured shipping timelines and minimised production risks.



Event Management - Post-production
Led post-event production initiatives, the creation of overview videos and engaging interview content that captured key moments and stakeholder / award winner insights, managing everything from footage selection to final editing. Oversaw the development of multimedia content packages that effectively showcased event highlights across various platforms.

Impact and Outcomes
Beyond the two B2B Marketing Award nominations and a 4.8/5 customer satisfaction score, the campaign management drove measurable success. Social media engagement increased significantly due to the revitalized digital assets, and event materials enhanced CCi’s visibility, strengthening their brand presence online and offline.
